A Grade II listed building, the Victorian townhouse that’s home to the Astor Court Hotel underwent vast refurbishment transforming the property into one of the most unique establishments in central London.

Working on behalf of design and build contractor Richardsons, we were commissioned to manufacture, supply and undertake the installation of our fire rated glazed screens and doors to the lobby areas on all five floors of the building.

Complimentary to the unique feature set throughout the property, bespoke brass ironmongery and a specially selected colour scheme were specified by the architect to provide a truly unique design.

Allowing a non-obstructive walk flow throughout the lobby areas, the glass fire doors are connected to hold open magnets which automatically release in the event of a fire.
To comply with building regulations, the fire rated screens and doors consist of non-thermally broken steel frames and Pyran S fire glass to provide a fire resistance of 30 minutes integrity.
